Q: HOW DO I HOST A SCREENING?

 

A: Click the "Host a Screening" tab.

 

Q: IS THERE A BOOKING FEE TO HOST A SHOWING?

 

A: Yes, we require a $80 non-refundable booking fee before we can secure your

showing(s). If you book more than one showing during the same day or weekend,

you pay the $80 booking fee only once. If you book screenings on two different

weekends, then you are subjected to two booking fees.

 

 

Q: HOW MUCH SHOULD I SELL TICKETS FOR?

 

A: Admission price is generally set between $10 - $15 per person. Keep in mind

that after the screening, you are required to pay Rustic Lantern Films your screening

rental fee. So, make sure that you earn enough to pay Rustic Lantern Films and

have some money left over for your organization. This is an excellent fund-raising

opportunity for you or your organization.

 

 

Q: HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE US AND WHAT IS YOUR

     MINIMUM ATTENDANCE?

 

A: Their is no attendance minimum. You just pay us a flat fee of:

 

          Non-profit Organizations    One Screening         $500

                                                     Two Screenings       $750

                                                     Three Screenings    $1000

 

          For-profit Organizations     One Screening         $750

                                                     Two Screenings       $1125

                                                     Three Screenings    $1500

 

 

Q: How does the payment work?

 

A: Payments can be made before the screening or after the screening.  We accept checks or

Q: How does captioning work?

 

A: The movie is subtitled, meaning the caption is "burned" into the movie. It can't be removed.

 

 

Q: Is the movie in HD (high definition) or in SD (standard definition)?

 

A: The disc will have both options.  It depends on your projector and what it can do.

 

 

Q: When can I host "The Deaf Club" movie?

 

A: You can host the movie anytime between now until end of 2015. We encourage you to

host it as soon as possible before the deadline.

 

 

Q: IS THERE A DVD THAT WE CAN SELL?

 

A: Lake Windfall is now available on DVD. To buy individual DVD, click here. You could purchase a bulk of DVDs and sell them on your own to raise funds. If interested in bulk purchasing, click here.

 

 

Q: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN SELL?

 

A: Route 66 Printing (www.route66print.com) have t-shirts for sale. If you contact them,

they may sell them to you at a low price, and you can resell them at a higher price to

Q: HOW BIG SCREEN IT SHOULD BE?

 

A: The quality of the film depends on what projector you are using.   We recommend to try for 17 feet wide screen. Below is a helpful link: Screen Size Calculator.

 

 

Q: DO YOU HAVE MATERIALS TO HELP US TO ADVERTISE?

 

A: Once you pay your booking fee ($80), you will get a link to download artwork to use for your flyer, tickets and social media promotions. You or your organization is responsible to print out promotional flyers and tickets. We encourage that the flyers printed in color.

 

 

Q: DOES THE MOVIE HAVE AUDIO AND ENGLISH SUBTITLES?

 

A: Lake Windfall has both. The Deaf Club is a silent movie with sign language and closed captioned. We encourage you to welcome hearing people to come and enjoy the movies.

 

 

Q: WILL RUSTIC LANTERN FILMS COME AND HELP SET-UP?

 

A: No. You will be responsible for your own set up. The DVD are formatted with standard settings.

 

 

Q: WHAT IS THE FILM RATING OF LAKE WINDFALL?

 

A: This film has not been rated officially yet. However, we determined the rating should be R. The film consists of excessive profanity and mild violence.  Parents are strongly cautioned to give special guidance for attendance of children under 17. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 17.

 

 

Q: WHAT IS THE FILM RATING OF THE DEAF CLUB?

 

A: This film has not been rated officially yet. However, we determined that the rating should  be PG-13. The film consists of mild profanity and some sexual suggestions.  Parents are strongly cautioned to give special guidance for attendance of children under 13. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.

 

 

Q: HOW LONG IS THE FILM?

 

A: Lake Windfall is 104 minutes.  The Deaf Club is 90 minutes long.
